Whitening or Bleaching?
The two words get used interchangeably, but they are not quite the same thing. Whitening removes surface stains and restores your teeth to their natural brightness. Bleaching uses bleaching agents to lighten teeth beyond their natural color, for a more dramatic change. We will tell you which one your expectations actually call for.
The Zoom® Whitening Process
What happens in the chair, start to finish.
- Protecting Your Gums A protective covering is placed over your gums and lips to shield them from the whitening agent.
- Applying the Gel The Zoom® whitening gel goes onto your teeth and is activated with a special light.
- Three to Four Cycles Each cycle runs about 15 minutes. By the end you will see a significant change in brightness.
