Estimate a monthly payment

See what a plan might look like

A financing plan divides a treatment total across a term. The figure that matters is the one on your own plan, so the office prepares a written estimate for the treatment being proposed and the terms available for it before anything is scheduled.

Before you decide
A written estimate, in plain figures.

What the treatment costs, what your plan is expected to cover, and what is left to arrange. Bring your plan details and the team will put it in writing.

Actual monthly amounts, terms, interest, and approval are set by the financing provider, not by the practice.
04 · Please read

Insurance participation, benefits, coverage, and financing approval can change and are not guaranteed.

Patients should verify current details with the office and their plan or financing provider before treatment is scheduled.

05 · Reading your plan

Terms worth knowing

These are the terms that decide what a plan pays. The specific figures are set by your plan, not by the practice.

Annual maximum

The most a plan will pay toward covered care in a plan year. Costs beyond that amount are the patient’s responsibility.

Deductible

The amount you pay before the plan begins paying its share of covered services.

Coinsurance

The percentage split between you and the plan for a covered service, which often differs by category of treatment.

Waiting period

A set period after enrollment before certain services are covered under some plans.

In-network and out-of-network

Whether a dentist has a contracted agreement with your plan, which can change what you pay.

Pre-treatment estimate

A request sent to your plan before treatment asking what it expects to cover. It is an estimate, not a guarantee of payment.

Coverage terms vary between plans and between employers on the same plan. Call the office with your plan details and we will help you read what applies to your treatment.
