Achieve a Radiant Smile with Professional Whitening
A bright smile is one of the quickest changes cosmetic dentistry can make. We offer personalized whitening solutions including Zoom® in-office whitening and Opalescence take-home kits, and at your consultation we assess your oral health before recommending either.
Two Ways to Whiten
- In-Office Whitening Quick and effective. A powerful whitening gel with light activation brightens your smile by several shades in a single visit — the right choice if you have an event coming up.
- Take-Home Kits Custom trays and Opalescence gel, so you achieve professional results at your own pace at home.
Zoom® Whitening
For fast, dramatic results, Zoom® is an in-office treatment that can brighten your smile by several shades in one appointment. A light-activated gel breaks up stains and discoloration in about an hour.
- Fast results — a visibly whiter smile in one session
- Safe and supervised — monitored throughout for comfort and safety
- Customizable — the intensity is adjusted to suit your teeth
- Long lasting — with proper care the result holds for months
Whitening or Bleaching?
The two words get used interchangeably, but they are not quite the same thing. Whitening removes surface stains and restores your teeth to their natural brightness. Bleaching uses bleaching agents to lighten teeth beyond their natural color, for a more dramatic change. We will tell you which one your expectations actually call for.
The Zoom® Whitening Process
What happens in the chair, start to finish.
- Protecting Your Gums A protective covering is placed over your gums and lips to shield them from the whitening agent.
- Applying the Gel The Zoom® whitening gel goes onto your teeth and is activated with a special light.
- Three to Four Cycles Each cycle runs about 15 minutes. By the end you will see a significant change in brightness.
- Aftercare We give you post-whitening instructions so the result lasts as long as it can.
Keeping Your Teeth White
- Avoid stain-causing foods and drinks, particularly in the first few days
- Brush and floss regularly
- Use a straw for drinks that stain
- Keep up your regular cleanings with us
Your teeth are more prone to staining immediately after whitening, but that settles within a few days.

Teeth Whitening FAQ
- Is teeth whitening safe?
- Yes, professional whitening is safe when it is carried out by a licensed dentist. We use advanced techniques and high-quality products, and your teeth and gums are protected throughout.
- How long does teeth whitening last?
- Results can last up to a year or longer with good oral hygiene and by avoiding the foods and drinks that stain. Occasional touch-ups keep it going.
- Does whitening cause sensitivity?
- Some patients get temporary sensitivity. Our methods are designed to minimize it, and a sensitivity-reducing toothpaste before and after treatment helps.
- How much does professional whitening cost?
- It depends which treatment you have. We will give you a personalized estimate and talk through payment options at your consultation.
- Can all stains be removed?
- Most surface stains from food, drink or tobacco come out well. Intrinsic stains — from medication or trauma, for instance — sit inside the tooth and may need veneers instead.
- In-office or take-home?
- In-office is faster and gets you there in one visit. Take-home kits are more gradual and let you work at your own pace. Both use professional-strength gel, which is what separates them from a supermarket kit.
