As a result, she has lived in several states and even spent time in England before her family settled in Dayton, Ohio. It was here that Dr. Bushey attended Wright State University, where she majored in Biology. Additionally, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
