Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Assembly Mechanic is responsible for supporting business in the manufacturing, assembly, fabricating and handling of parts sold by the company.

  • Assemble and fabricate remanufactured parts including but not limited to:
      \n
    • Disassemble assemblies for remanufacture
    • \n
    • Clean, prep, and paint assemblies for the purpose of remanufacturing
    • \n
    • Rebuild components to generate complete assemblies
    • \n
    • Perform quality checks and conduct final inspections prior to shipping parts
    • \n
    \n
  • \n
  • Rotate through all tasks required in production processes
  • \n
  • Responsible for paperwork to ensure company data matches with actual physical components
  • \n
  • Operate machinery for manufacturing and assembly parts
  • \n
  • Support manufacturing staff
  • \n
  • Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping
  • \n
  • Debur, hand polish, clean, tap, etc. parts that are in process or finished
  • \n
  • Create/assemble subcomponents of larger part assemblies
  • \n
  • Keep shop areas clean and organized including but not limited to: trash, scrap metal, tooling, etc.
  • \n
  • Support over all day-to-day business operations
  • \n

Qualifications and Competencies:

    \n
  • High school diploma required
  • \n
  • Valid driver's license required
  • \n
  • Associate degree or Industrial Skills Training/Certificate preferred
  • \n
  • Ability to make precise coordinated movements of fingers of both hands to disassemble/assemble small objects
  • \n
  • Attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal direction
  • \n
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer
  • \n
  • Ability to work without direction and retain prior instruction
  • \n
  • Able to work continuously on feet
  • \n
  • Able to lift, carry, and maneuver a maximum of 100 lbs.

Pay Rate Details: $25-$30 per hour
