Baltimore City Improvements seeks an experienced, professional full-time Assistant Manager in Baltimore, Maryland for Printers Square Apartments. This is an on-site position based out of the community's management office with a focus on Section 8 certification and Tax Credit. Printers Square consists of 60 loft-style apartments.

Position Summary: The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring the property maintains compliance with Tax Credit, LIHTC, HUD, EIV, and related programs.

Primary Duties and Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of HUD (Project-Based Section 8) and LIHTC programs.
  • Experience with multiple program layers is a plus.
  • At least 2+ years of affordable housing experience or similar compliance experience.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, goal-oriented.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Conduct tenant reviews, process income and asset verifications, ensure timely submission of 50059s.
  • Maintain LIHTC files and resolve discrepancies.
  • Experience with Yardi related to compliance.
  • Review move-in eligibility for approval.
  • Ensure timely processing of Tax Credit certifications, HUD annual and interim certifications.
  • Organize records and maintain certification filing system.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Department to meet LIHTC, HUD, DHCD, and investor expectations.
  • Prepare tenant documents for audits and reports, reconcile discrepancies, complete required forms.
  • Show available apartments, conduct move-ins/move-outs in the system, assist with lease signings.
