As a Unarmed Security Guard - Government Site in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing clear communication to all who enter the facility. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence and professional demeanor, while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide assistance.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and following emergency procedures.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and observation at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Access control and badge experience is preferred. 
• Customer service experience is preferred. 
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
