  • Targeted Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow automation solutions.


  • Confer with architects and process owners to document process definitions and solutions.


  • Provide solution designs to customers during POCs, development, and project implementation.


  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.


  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.


  • Ensure client stakeholders are managed effectively and updated on progress with risks/issues.

Must Have Skills (Most Important):



  • Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS. Other programming languages and frameworks such as React, Python, and SQL is a plus.


  • Demonstrated ability to design and architect solution design and architecture, leveraging best practices and OOTB capabilities.


  • Demonstrated experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), RPA tools such as UI Path, and AI-type solutions.


  • Experience in using APIs, such as REST, SOAP, and JSON.

Desired Skills:



  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.


  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.


  • Willingness to learn and develop in other technologies and platforms as part of integration and/or standalone projects.


  • Experience effectively communicating and discussing complex business and technical topics to all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in business workflow development and custom application development.


  • Exposure and experience developing with ITSM modules, CMDB, and SPM.

  • Ability to customize out-of-the-box features using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.


  • Experience with playbooks.


  • Guidance and development on workflows.

Q&A Highlights:



  • 58349: ServiceNow specific, working on the platform (mixed role with some admin experience).


  • 58332: More broad development, including ServiceNow, RPAs, and other tools.


  • Experience with telecommunication service management (specific to ITSM) is a plus.


  • Customization experience, particularly from a UI perspective, is valuable.


  • Onshore candidates are required, with a preference for East Coast hours.


  • The interview process will likely consist of two rounds: one with Stephanie and one technical interview with the team.


  • Top candidate skills include experience in the ServiceNow platform, particularly with the ITSM module.


  • For the ServiceNow administrator role (58349), experience with the strategic planning module (SPM) and enterprise agile planning is a plus.

  • ServiceNow CSA or Certified Application Developer certification is preferred for the administrator role (58349).


  • For the developer position, exposure to AI/ML tools is a plus, but no specific tool is required.


  • For the developer role, ITSM and SPM modules are the most important.


  • Automation test framework experience for ServiceNow is a “nice to have.”

Pay Range: $50hr to $55hr on w2 

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
