Job Title : Repair Station Manager

Acme Aerospace, Inc., a leading manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom batteries and battery control electronic systems for military and commercial aircraft applications, is currently seeking a high-energy, results-driven, customer-focused, experienced individually accountable.

What You'll Do:

• Manager of Acme Aerospace’s FAA 145 Certificated Repair Station, Generate regulatory documentation in accordance with CFR parts 43 and 145.
• 24/7 AOG Management and disposition.
• Manage all repair station activity and training requirements of repair station personnel per FAA regulations.
• Coordinate customer training requirements on-site or at the customer’s facility.
• Monitor repair activity to ensure all repair contract and support agreement requirements are being met.
• Eager to take the initiative to resolve a wide range of customer needs and, when unable to solve them independently, will utilize the proper escalation path to ensure that any major customer issues are addressed to the management staff for direction.
• Disposition warranty claims submitted on products returned for repair.
• Identify and define value propositions for our products and market segment opportunities for growth in repair activities.
• Able to work with the Engineering and Sales Department to promptly respond to customer inquiries regarding product issues or questions.
• Assist Sales and Marketing in identifying new opportunities and programs.
• Visit customers to resolve issues and evaluate company/product performance.
• Ensuring internal processes are followed and driving continuous internal and customer improvement.
• Manage and develop weekly Repair Station operating Turnaround Times (TAT) and financial reports.
• Manage and develop monthly TAT and On Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.
• Drives commercial activity and revenue growth for Repair Station - Repair/overhauls in collaboration with Sales.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with commercial or military aerospace (avionics). Preferred experience with batteries/battery systems and power electronics.
• Experience with FAA Regulations, generating regulatory documentation following CFR parts 43 and 145and AS9100 Quality procedures/policy.

International Trade Compliance Requirements

• Due to the potential exposure to ITAR-controlled data and export control regulations, the applicant in this role must be a qualified U.S. person as designated under INA, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
