Job Title : Regulatory Tax Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $20 $23/hr on W2

Description:

• Experience with FATCA, QI, NRA, or backup withholding regulations
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
• Regulatory governance, process design, and vendor onboarding experience

General Summary

We are hiring a Regulatory Tax Business Analyst to join the Operational Tax Change Management team. The role involves analyzing global tax regulations, supporting new business activities, vendor onboarding, and improving compliance processes. This is a high-impact role with exposure across global teams and business lines.

• Analyze tax regulations and implement related operational processes
• Support onboarding of vendors and new business from a tax compliance perspective
• Draft and maintain process documentation and SOPs
• Participate in testing, change management, and regulatory reporting
• Collaborate with global teams for issue resolution and project execution
• Monitor and implement changes based on global tax regulatory updates

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Tax Ops, Compliance, or Financial Services
• Working knowledge of FATCA, QI, NRA, Backup Withholding regulations
• Proficiency in Excel, JIRA, Confluence; SQL or Aqua is a plus
• Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in UAT, documentation, root cause analysis, or control implementation preferred
