The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating operational software problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service as well as integration and verification of new baselines.What You Will Do:Perform as technical subject matter expert for software products and interface with Prime customer on daily basis on mission executionSupports troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applicationsExpected to troubleshoot and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performanceDetermines the operational feasibility of software modificationsWork autonomously or lead teams to develop software tools to complement maintenance activitiesPerforms testing, integration and delivery of new software baselinesSome team leadership duties may be requiredAbility to perform in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of a complex system in operationsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision to support tasksActive and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start dateQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulationsExperience with coding software in Java, C++, or PythonExperience with one or more of the following scripting languages: PERL, GIT, Java Script, TCL/TK, BashExperience in software development and/or software integrationExperience leading software projectsExperience providing support to software installs and system upgrades, participating in one or more of the following roles: integration; technical working groups; factory checkouts; system tests/checkouts; installation planning and rehearsals.Experience with software configuration management systemsQualifications We Prefer:Experience working in an O&M environmentExperience with database management and utilizationAbility to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractExperience working an enterprise program with team members located at multiple geographic locationsThorough analytical skills and ability to recommend and implement solutions to software engineering problems and issues (some of which may occur outside normal day staff hours)Linux/Unix, GIT, and SQL experienceJIRA, BitBucket and Confluence experience desiredSecurity+ certificationExperience with current IC or DoD operational environments and policies or supporting operational systemsFamiliarity with the request for change (RFC) processWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
