Job Title: Mechanical New Product Development & Testing Engineer (PD Pumps)
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Duration: Fulltime
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of new PD pump products from concept to production.
• Conduct prototyping, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Perform failure analysis and implement design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including CAD models, test reports, and specifications.
• Support manufacturing teams during product launch and troubleshoot engineering issues.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in product development, preferably in pump technology.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling/Detailing (SolidWorks).
• Experience with product testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Preferable experience in Actuators and Seals.
