Job Summary: The Senior Sales & Account Manager will play a crucial role in leading EQUUSIR’s expansion efforts in the US market for the EQUUSIR DogBox. This position combines strategic sales leadership, key account management, and product management to drive the success of DogBox within the US animal health and veterinary sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a robust network in animal health, strong sales acumen, and the ability to manage key client relationships while driving product success. In this startup environment, the role will require someone with entrepreneurial skills who can navigate the challenges of a smaller, fast-paced company and take ownership of business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion & Strategy:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth for the EQUUSIR DogBox. This includes identifying key opportunities and markets, leveraging existing relationships, and building new partnerships with veterinary professionals and retailers.
  • Account Management & Customer Success:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships from pre-sale to post-sale implementation. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships with industry influencers and decision-makers to secure strong, long-term business partnerships. This will enhance customer satisfaction and EQUUSIR's brand presence.
  • Act as a trusted consultant by staying informed about veterinary trends and client needs.
  • Product Management, Feedback & Brand Advocacy:
  • Work closely with the German headquarters and product team to provide market feedback, customize offerings, and influence product development to meet the unique needs of the US market. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, campaigns, and educational content .
  • Gather customer feedback to improve product development and customer experience .
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Drive sales of DogBox by engaging with veterinary clinics, pet rehabilitation centers, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training, and presentations to educate potential clients. Represent the company at trade shows, veterinary conferences, and industry events
  • Lead by example, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure the successful introduction and positioning of the EQUUSIR DogBox. Provide insights on competitive intelligence and market trends to refine strategies.
  • Autonomous Decision Making:
  • Operate independently within the US market, making strategic decisions to align with EQUUSIR’s overall business goals while adapting to the dynamic market landscape.
  • Sales Metrics, Reporting & Strategy:
  • Set up sales targets and performance metrics. Track and report on progress to ensure goals are met and exceeded. Analyze performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Develop forecasts and contribute to strategic sales planning.

Qualifications:

  • A robust network of contacts within the US animal health market is a crucial component.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Animal Health, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, account management, or business development within the veterinary or retail sectors.
  • Pet Rehabilitation preferred
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and market penetration, preferably in animal health, veterinary, or similar industries.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and make high-level strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the US animal health market and regulatory landscape.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-orientated, and able to work independently.
