Join to apply for the IT PACS Sr Systems Administrator role at CHI Responsibilities Oversee the complete administration of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related medical imaging applications infrastructure. Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of PACS and related software and hardware components. Facilitate resolution and documentation of major incidents and outages. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient use of PACS. Monitor and optimize PACS performance, resolve issues, and ensure system availability. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Implement process improvements and monitor system quality control reports. Maintain knowledge of processes and respond to user requests. Inform leadership of system changes, problems, and upgrades. Mentor junior administrators and enforce data security protocols. Work with cybersecurity team to implement security measures. Integrate PACS with other healthcare information systems. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies. Develop documentation related to PACS administration. Lead PACS upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Meet SLAs and ensure availability. Must reside within one hour of supported facilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 100% onsite position. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Medical Imaging, Computer Science, or related fields. 7+ years of PACS administration experience. Proficiency in PACS software/hardware and medical imaging workflows. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of healthcare data security and compliance. Strong problem-solving skills. Leadership abilities. Detail-oriented and organized. Commitment to continuous learning.
