Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst I

This firm is actively seeking to hire an Analyst at the Analyst I level to join its high-performing Technology team. Specializing in sell-side M&A advisory within the Software and Internet sectors, the firm has earned a stellar reputation among tech founders and entrepreneurs for its ability to deliver exceptional outcomes through strategic acquisitions by leading private equity firms and strategic buyers.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, and preparation of marketing materials.
Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses using methodologies such as DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
Assist in the creation of pitch books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other client-facing materials.
Conduct industry and company-specific research to support business development and transaction execution.
Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the deal process.
Contribute to a team-oriented environment that emphasizes learning, mentorship, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of full-time experience in Investment Banking, preferably with exposure to M&A transactions.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and accounting.
Experience preparing pitch materials, CIMs, and other transaction-related documents.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the tech investment banking space.
