Position Overview :
My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Second-Year Investment Banking Analyst to join their M&A advisory team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and clients on complex, high-impact transactions, particularly within the firm's core verticals. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a passion for deal-making, and a demonstrated interest in the firm's focus industries.
Key Responsibilities :
Support execution of M&A transactions in the technology, software, business services, and government services sectors
Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
Conduct industry and company research to support deal execution and business development
Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and other transaction-related deliverables
Collaborate with senior bankers and clients throughout all phases of the M&A process
Qualifications :
~ Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record
~ Minimum GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale
~1-2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst at a reputable firm
~ Demonstrated interest or experience in one or more of the firm's core sectors (tech, software, business services, government services)
~ Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
~ Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
~ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
~ High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits :
