Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate industry-specific agreements, including PSAs, JOAs, and lease documents

• Perform due diligence on acquisitions, divestitures, and M&A matters within the energy sector

• Advise on regulatory compliance, land use, and environmental impact for oil & gas operations

• Support senior attorneys in complex deal structuring and client strategy

• Engage directly with engineers, title experts, and government stakeholders to coordinate transactions

• Track legal and market developments that affect energy and natural resource transactions

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of legal experience in energy or oil & gas transactions

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating contracts for upstream and midstream operations

• Strong understanding of mineral rights, land titles, and environmental regulations

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

• Excellent research, advisory, and client communication skills
