Job Title: Transportation & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Weston, FL 33331
Pay: $25/hr - $27/hr
Contract: 6 Months (Possible extension based on performance)






About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transportation & Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing transportation and distribution procedures to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of our products. You'll evaluate freight classifications, review carrier rates, manage third-party logistics partners, and support domestic and international shipping operations.



Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze transportation and distribution systems to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate freight classifications, tariffs, and rate proposals; recommend changes as needed.
• Plan and coordinate fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, scheduling, and disposal.
• Hire and manage relationships with third-party carriers for domestic and international shipments.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Monitor operating efficiency to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Support inventory and warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with both domestic and international shipping is required.
• Familiarity with freight classification systems and tariff structures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
