Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Senior Manager, HR Systems

Location : Irwindale, CA

Salary Type: Exempt

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000

Position Summary:

The HRIS Analyst administers, develops, and researches the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Configures the system to meet ongoing business needs and generates reports to support HR, Finance and IT functions. Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development. Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements. This position will maintain awareness of current HRIS trends and developments with a focus on product development, delivery and support. The HRIS Analyst will be assigned projects as needed to support the HR function in the areas of HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance.

What you will Do:

  • Lead HR, payroll, benefits, recruiting and compensation projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., UKG, Tableau, Power BI, Excel) to translate complex data findings into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide technical support to internal HR users in researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Perform system, data, and audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the development of written user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and end user training.
  • Conduct testing of HRIS product changes and updates to ensure proper functionality across all modules, external feeds, and workflows.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years (4-7 preferred) of HRIS systems experience
  • Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal, planning, problem solving, and business analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with UKG Pro and BI’s People Analytics
  • Familiar with tools to support data analysis (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau, and Cognos).
  • Proficient in use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google (mail, calendar, drive, docs, sheets, slides), payroll and time management software.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization
  • A proven track record of results with a bias for action
