Job Title: Accountant
Location: Flushing, New York (On-site, 5 days a week)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No overtime)
Projected Salary Range : $60,000-$72,000
Job Overview We are working exclusively with a 10-person real estate firm based in Flushing, New York, seeking an Accountant with strong Accounts Payable and Payroll experience to join their team. This role supports the firm's daily operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and skilled in managing payroll, rent collection, and Accounts Payable in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable: Process invoices and communicate with vendors.
Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll accurately and timely.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations related to financial and payroll processes.
Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting or bookkeeping.
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently.
Must speak native English with clear communication skills.
